The 4th Sunday of the Great Fast. The saints commemorated today are the venerable John Climacus and St. Basil. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 6; verse 13 through 20. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 9; verse 17 through 31.
