CHRIST IS RISEN!!!

Dear Friends,
After a few hard weeks and much toil we finally have the podcast back up and running. We would not have a podcast if it wasn't for listeners like yourself that gave their prayers and support and for that I am very grateful.

This effort has been a huge learning experience for me. It baffles me how this podcast has impacted the lives of others and is continuing to draw whole families closer to Christ. The extent of this has been far beyond anything I intended or imagined. In the begining it was just all about inviting others to join me in prayer. Now it is much more.
I humbly cross my self and bow before you, my brothers and sisters, and thank you all for your generosity and allowing me to continue this ministry.
In IC XC,
Brian J. Biggerstaff

Update on the Podcast

Dear Friends,

Just thought I would update you on the progress I have been making to get my computer up and running so I can continue to bring you podcast each day.

Every thing is going very well. Me and Chris have been talking to each other each day and we finally got the last few pieces together. My PC should run about 4 times quicker by the time we are through.

Looks like I could have this back online by Monday April 20th {{crosses himself}}. I want to thank every one that participated by donating the funds to purchase the hardware and the software.

WE MADE IT!!!

Dear Friends,

We reached our goal of $150.00 in two and half days. I want to thank everyone who got involved for your prayers and gifts. Here is what the money you donated will do.

1. Replace Hard Drive
2. Upgrade RAM (Memory) from 512kb to 1GB
3. Purchase the System Restore disk for Compaq Presario V2000

I plan on havin the podcast back up and runing in at least a week. I am going to shoot for Pascha. That would be totally cool to have this ressurected on Pascha.

Thank you all again.

ALMOST THERE!!!!

Dear Friends,

I just want to let you know that, with your help, in the last 48 hours I have raised about $110.00 bringing me very close to my goal of $150.00. I want to say a very heartfelt thank you to all of my listeners that have enabled me to continue this special ministry.

With tears of great joy (and they are real) and gratitude I have to say that it looks like I may have this up and running by Pascha (Easter). The timing is incredible.

Update on Podcast

I want to give you an update on the progress of the St. Luke's Byzantine Podcast and invite each of you to participate in getting it up and running again. Christopher in Olathe, KS, a licensed computer technician, has volunteered to do the work required to repair my computer and install news parts when I get them. The value of his donated services is approximately $300.00. I am extremely grateful for his very generous donation.

Christopher has told me that the parts I need to get my computer properly repaired will cost me about $150.00. I am sending out this plea for donations to so that I can get the podcast up and running as quickly as possible. A good friend and loyal listener named Jim has already pledged $20.00. Upon his recommendation I have set up a PayPal account to receive future donations. So far I have received approximately $15.00 in donations.

If every daily listener is willing and able to donate an average of 75 cents I will be able to accomplish my goal. I want to thank all of my dedicated listeners who have already committed their time, money and prayers. For those of you blessed enough to be able to donate to my cause via PayPal, go to the website http://www.paypal.com and enter my email address biggerstaff.brian@gmail.com to make a donation. Any amount would be a blessing.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Brian J. Biggerstaff

Update On Podcast Status

Dear Friends,

I just found out that my hard drive is toast. The good news is most of the data is being recovered and with little resources I can have my PC back up and running. It will take me about 3 to 4 weeks to put together the resources (denero) and get the podcast back up and running.

I would like to thank Chris in Olathe, KS for his technical expertise and tireless efforts in helping me get my PC in order so I can continue this work. I also want to thank all of my listeners from all over the country that have been sending and posting messages of love and moral support. You have all touched my heart in a way that words cannot accurately express.

THIS PODCAST WILL GET BACK ON IT'S FEET! I can say this much joy and anticipation. I enjoy doing this work and I believe that God is with us.

If anyone is interested in making a small donation so I may more quickly expiate the process of getting this podcast back online and going - any amount would be a blessing. If you are interested please send me an email at the address listed below.

biggerstaff.brian@gmail.com

Again, thank you all for your kind words and patience.

Your humble servant in IC XC,

Brian J. Biggerstaff
