Today commemorates the appearance of the Sign of the Cross. The martyr commemorated today is Acacius. The first reading is from the book of Acts Chapter 10; verse 34 through 43. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. John Chapter 8; verse 12 through 20.
