The Martyr commemorated today is the great and Holy Demetrius. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Ephesians Chapter 2; verse 14 through 22. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 8; verse 26 through 39.
