The solemn feast of the Synaxis of the Mother of God. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 2; Chapter 11 through 18. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew Chapter 2; verse 13 through 23.
