The saints commemorated today are Daniel the STylite and Spiridon Bishop and Wonderworker. The first reading is from the epistle of St. James Chapter 1; verse 19 through 27. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 9; verse 10 through 16.
