The martyrs commemorated today are the Holy Ten of Crete. The first reading is from the second epistle of Paul to Timothy Chapter 3; verse 16 to Chapter 4; verse 4. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 11; verse 11 through 23.
