Today commemorates the dedication of the Church of the Resurrection of the Lord in Jerusalem. The first reading is from the 1st epistle of St. Paul to the Corinthians Chapter 2; verse 6 through 9. The second reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 3; verse 1 through 4. The third reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mathew Chapter 10; verse 37 to Chapter 11; verse 1. And the fourth reading is from Chapter 16; verse 13 through 18 of the same Gospel.
