The feast of the Protection of the Mother of God. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 9; verse 1 through 7. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 10; verse 38 through 42 and Chapter 11; verse 27 and 28.
