The martyr commemorated today is Clement of Ancyra. The first reading is from the 1st epistle of St. Peter Chapter 1; verse 1 - 2, 10 -12, and Chapter 2; verse 6 through 10. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 12; verse 1 through 12.
