Today commemorates the translation of the relics of St. Ignatius of Antioch. The first reading is from the 1st epistle of St. Peter Chapter 4; verse 12 to Chapter 5; verse 5. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 12; verse 38 through 44.
