The martyrs commemorated today are Hermolaus and Stratonicus. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 12; verse 25 through 26 and Chapter 13; verse 22 through 25. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 10; verse 2 through 12.
