The saint commemorated today is our Holy Fathers Athanasius and Cyril of Alexandria. The first reading is from the 1st epistle of St. Paul to Timothy Chapter 1; verse 15 through 17. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 18; verse 35 through 43.
