The saint commemorated today is the Venerable Euthymius the Great. The first reading is from the 2nd epistle of St. Paul to the Corinthians Chapter 4; verse 6 through 15. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 6; verse 17 through 23.
