The saints commemorated today are Timothy - Apostle and Anastasius - Martyr. The first reading is from the epistle of St. James Chapter 4; verse 7 and Chapter 5; verse 9. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 11; verse 27 through 33.
