Today commemorates the Three Holy Hierarchs. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 13; verse 7 through 16. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew Chapter 5; verse 14 through 19.

Yes, I'll have some coffee!!...actually, Brian, you FORGOT to turn off the recorder at 7:59, just after you read the gospel, you offer someone in the room some coffee...It really made my prayer time exciting...for a minute, I thought Jesus was offering me a cup of coffee, since it was right after the Gospel reading!...lol...by the way, I really appreciate this podcast...please keep them up. As I drive to work (one hour commute), this podcast helps me begin my day focusing on Jesus, which is what Xians are supposed to do. God bless.
woops! A very attactive young lady walked into the room as I was recording.
I saw a study on the Discovery Channel that showed when the sex center of the brain is stimulated the logic center shuts down. I guess they are right.
I should pray to our mother the Theotokos to assists me during vain destractions.
