The martyrs commemorated today are Acepsimas and others. The first reading the 1st epistle of St. Paul to Timothy Chapter 1; verse 1 through 7. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 12; verse 13 - 15 and 22 - 31.
