The martyrs commemorated today are Onesiphorus and Porphyrius. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Ephesians Chapter 5; verse 9 through 19. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 10; verse 25 through 37.
