The martyrs commemorated today ar Akinynos, Pegasius, Aphthonius, Elpidiphor, and Anempodistus. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Ephesians Chapter 4; verse 1 through 6. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 8; verse 41 through 56.
