The saints commemorated today are the Clement Pope of Rome and Peter Bishop of Alexandria. The first reading is from the epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews Chapter 4; verse 1 through 13. The second reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke Chapter 19; verse 45 through 48.
